We asked ChatGPT who the best chiropractor in Sarasota is

Before asking anything, we built the list. 173 chiropractic practices in the Sarasota area — real, licensed, open, seeing patients. Nearly all of them sit inside Sarasota itself: 166 of the 173.

Then we asked the questions a patient actually types, phrased four ways, of two different AI assistants — eight checks for Sarasota. Every check came back with named practices, in order. Not "here is how to choose a chiropractor" — actual names.

• Which chiropractor should I go to in Sarasota, Florida?

A practice counts as named if it came back in at least one of those eight checks. We recorded the name exactly as the assistant gave it and matched it to the practice on our list. No practice was added because it is a customer of ours, and none was left out for not being one.

The questions all say "Sarasota", so every practice in those 4 towns is competing inside the same question — a Bradenton practice is up against the Sarasota ones.

14 of 173 is 8.1% — about one in twelve. For a market this crowded that is a very small door, and 159 Sarasota-area practices are on the outside of it.

This is the published top of the Sarasota list — the practices the questions came back to most often, best first. 14 practices were named in total; the 10 below are the ones the public board publishes.

Dr. Abraham Kozma came back in five of the eight checks, more than any other Sarasota-area practice. That is a count of how often a name appeared, not a judgement that it is the best practice in Sarasota — we did not assess anybody's care.

Only 1 of the 10 listed Sarasota practices came back from both assistants. 6 came from ChatGPT alone, and 3 came from the other assistant and never from ChatGPT. If you are on this list because of one assistant, you are invisible to patients using the other.

We run the same questions past more than one AI assistant, because patients do not all use the same one. ChatGPT named 10 Sarasota-area practices. Counting a practice if any assistant named it gives 14. Both figures describe the same 8 checks.

So a headline that says "we asked ChatGPT" has to quote 10, and the board — which counts every assistant — shows 14. Quoting the bigger number under the ChatGPT headline would overstate it, which is the one mistake this whole exercise exists to avoid.

The practical read: the assistants do not agree with each other. 4 Sarasota-area practices were named by the other assistant and not by ChatGPT. Being named by one is not being named by all of them.

The practices that got named carry a median of 58 Google reviews. Across the whole Sarasota cohort the median is 23. The named group is the better-reviewed end of the field — but plenty of well-reviewed Sarasota practices were not named, so reviews alone clearly do not decide it.

The heaviest review file on the Sarasota list belongs to Integrated Physical Medicine in Bradenton, at 301 Google reviews and 4.9 stars. It is not the practice named most often, though: that is Dr. Abraham Kozma, named in five checks. So review volume did not set the order here either. What every named practice did have was something readable — a page saying who the doctor is, what the practice treats, and where it is.

• Not a quality ranking. We looked at no outcomes and assessed no care. 159 Sarasota-area practices were not named — far too many for that to be a verdict on any of them.
• Not a prediction. We have not measured whether being named brings patients in, so we do not claim it.
• A snapshot, taken 2026-07-28. Ask again next month and the Sarasota list will have moved.
• Not for sale in either direction — no paying in, no paying to be removed.

Start by repeating the measurement by hand: ask an assistant the four questions above, with Sarasota in them, and read what comes back. That is the entire method. If your name is not in it, the rest of this is the unglamorous work of becoming describable — something an assistant can read and repeat about your Sarasota practice without guessing.

1. A straight answer at the top of your home page: what you treat, where you are, whether you are taking new patients. Not a slogan.
2. Who the doctor is and how long you have been in practice, in writing.
3. Your street address, not just a phone number — somebody whose back has gone out wants to know the drive.

Whether that changes what an assistant says about you in Sarasota, we cannot promise, and we would rather say so than sell you a number we made up.
